Blaeneinion is 75 acres of conservation land at the head of the Artists Valley, and home to a wild family of beavers that feeds by the fire pit most evenings. Watching them is free, with no hide to book and no ticket to buy. If you'd like to stay a while, there are five little cottages, and the beavers are simply part of being here.
For over twenty years we've been planting woodland, restoring wetland, growing food and making room for wildlife to come back. The beavers are the heart of it now, and the rest of the valley is what makes them possible. You're very welcome to be part of it. :)
Seventy-five acres of woodland, ponds and forest garden, with around 34,000 native trees planted over the years. Home to beavers, kites, owls and a valley full of wildlife.

Twenty years in the making
Our family of Eurasian beavers feed by the fire pit at dusk, in the same spot every evening. They're unusually tame, and a real privilege to sit and watch. There's no hide and no ticket, you just sit quietly by the fire as the light goes. Please be kind to them, they are wild creatures and only come because they trust us to be calm and peaceful. In 2020 their work here earned us River Champion status.
An evening with the beaversThe Haven, our lovingly restored 16th-century cottage, looks out over one of the beaver wetlands from both bedroom windows. It is the closest you can sleep to them.
The cottages, the beavers, the fire pit and the wild places on the doorstep.
